Artistic Director - Shelley Grames
Shelley has been teaching dance in the metro Atlanta area for 18 years. After dancing professionally with Ruth Mitchell Dance Theatre, the Gainesville Ballet Company and several companies in the Southeast, she served as the Assistant Director of the Georgia Metropolitan Dance Theatre and became an award winning choreographer. Her thirst for knowledge, love of the dancer, and attention to the details of technique set her achievements apart. Shelley has worked with all ages of students through professionals. She is known to foster students through all the triumphs and trials in dance, making her a favorite with her students. Many of whom have gone on to receive college dance scholarships and engage in professional careers. Shelley has trained and coached students to compete in ballet competitions, auditions, pageants, full-length ballets, and even inspired them to give their time to charity or benefit performances.
